What a great day at Estill Springs Elementary! Today, Superintendent Mr. Brock and Assistant Superintendent Mr. Cornett prepared a delicious BBQ lunch for the staff, complete with BBQ, potato salad, and classic coleslaw.

🎄 Continuing a Tradition of Giving 🎄
Last night, Estill County Community Education Director, Melinda Barnett, hosted the first of several gift-wrapping events at the Central Office in support of the Elizabeth Witt Christmas Party. Staff, students, and community volunteers came together to wrap gifts that will bring joy to children throughout Estill County this holiday season.
In 1980, Elizabeth Witt started a Christmas Party for Estill County children, ensuring every gift was beautifully wrapped and tied with a ribbon. Following her passing in 1990, a group of residents formed a committee dedicated to preserving this cherished tradition. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the event has flourished over the years and continues to grow, keeping Elizabeth’s spirit of giving alive each Christmas season.
