As we wrapped up another successful school year, Superintendent Charlie Brock treated all district staff to a special Closing Day lunch. With the help of Mr. Cornett, Ronald Mullins, and several staff members, a delicious meal of pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and all the sides was prepared and served.
It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of the year and spend time together before everyone heads into the next chapter of summer. Moments like these remind us how fortunate we are to work alongside such dedicated and caring people.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. It was great that our staff had the opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy each other’s company.
So thankful for our Engineer family! ❤️🖤 #EngineerFamily #ClosingDay #OneDistrictOneFamily

On Friday, schools across the district celebrated several outstanding retirees who have dedicated years of service to our students, staff, and community.
Our Central Office staff had the privilege of honoring three amazing retirees: Tonya Ford, David Rice, and Paula Short. Their commitment, hard work, and passion have made a lasting impact on our district, and their contributions will not be forgotten.
We cannot begin to express our gratitude and appreciation for all of our retirees. Thank you for the countless ways you have served, supported, and inspired others throughout your careers.
We wish each of you the very best in this exciting new chapter. Your presence will be greatly missed, but your legacy will continue to be felt for years to come.
Congratulations and thank you for your years of dedication! ❤️🎉 #RetirementCelebration #ThankYouRetirees

Estill County Schools would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Meghan Mills for her incredible hard work, dedication, and commitment to our students and community.
This year marked the return of the After-Prom FLO Party in Estill County, and that success would not have been possible without Meghan’s leadership and support. Meghan recruited several new volunteers and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help make the event a success.
Planning an event like FLO takes a tremendous amount of effort, from fundraising and organizing to recruiting volunteers and coordinating countless details. Meghan and her group of volunteers did an outstanding job creating a safe and fun experience for our students.
We are grateful for Meghan’s continued service to Estill County Schools and want to give her an extra special shout-out for everything she does for our community.
Thank you, Meghan, for making a difference!
