Our librarians do so much more than manage books; they inspire a love of reading, support student learning, and create welcoming spaces where curiosity and creativity can grow. They play a vital role in helping our students explore, discover, and succeed.
We are so thankful for their dedication and the positive impact they make in our schools every day. Be sure to join us in celebrating and thanking our amazing school librarians! 📚

As part of a Great Gatsby choice board project, students explored the novel through creative and thoughtful artistic expressions. From visual interpretations to imaginative designs, their work showcases a deep understanding of the text while demonstrating the power of creativity in the classroom.
We love seeing cross-curricular opportunities like this, especially when art and English come together, blending two of the most powerful forms of expression. We’re sharing just a few of the projects here, and you will find the full collection on the Estill County High School Facebook page.
Check out some of their incredible work below!

As a result, June 5 will remain our last last day for students.

It was great to see current students leading demonstrations for their underclassmen, sharing what they love about the ATC, and to hear staff highlight the benefits of graduating work-ready. These students are fortunate to have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications in these fields while still in high school!
