Connecting your personally owned device to Personal Devices Network

To connect to the Estill County School District's Personal Devices wireless network (Referred to as PODNET - Personally Owned Device Network) for personally connected devices (this means your personal cell phone, your personal computers, personal tablets, etc.), follow the instructions below.
THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE SCHOOL OWNED/PURCHASED DEVICES…THOSE DO NOT CONNECT TO "Personal Devices"…EVER!)
Once you bring your personal device back to within range of any school wireless, you’ll need to reconnect it to "Personal Devices". It should ask you to register, and you’ll need to user your EMAIL ADDRESS and password for school. Once you’ve done this, you should be back to normal.
Below for step-by-step screen captures (in this case, for an Apple device) to connect to "Personal Devices":

Connecting to "Personal Devices"
A) Open your wireless settings on your device (iPhone example below, however, will be similar for Android Devices):

B) Connect to "Personal Devices".

C) Your device should open a window for you to register. If it does not, open your device’s web-browser and go to this website: 10.81.16.63 (it will ONLY appear if you’ve told your phone to connect to "Personal Devices", so do that first before opening the website).
D) Click on the underlined words to register.

E) If you’ve done everything correctly so far, this is the screen you should see:

F) Scroll down till you see the login screen.
G) Login with your school email address and password.
H) Guests who do not have a district email address and password can choose guest registration, IF GUEST REGISTRATION IS ACTIVATED AT TIME OF USE. Typically, guest registration is not available in certain areas. Do *NOT* use this if you have a school account.

I) Once you click login, you’ll come to the next screen.

J) At this point, you’ll need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen. Once you’ve scrolled down, at the bottom of the screen, you’ll need to click on the Acceptable use Policy box and put a check mark. Then Click "Complete Registration".

K) If you’ve followed the steps correctly, your wireless should turn off and then back on (meaning the fan symbol disappears at the top of your screen and then will reappear.)
L) At this point, you have successfully connected to the districts Wi-Fi access properly.
