Vision & Goals
Vision:
To create a safe, engaging, and personalized digital learning environment that empowers all students in Estill County to thrive academically and emotionally, while ensuring responsible technology use and safeguarding their well-being.
Three primary goals:
Enhance Student Safety and Well-being:
Implement GoGuardian Admin to block harmful content and ensure access to educationally appropriate materials
Comply with federal regulations like FERPA and COPPA, and achieve CIPA compliance.
Improve Classroom Management and Instructional Time:
Use GoGuardian Teacher to create personalized learning environments, monitor student activity, and provide tailored support.
Employ GoGuardian Teacher's Open Tab feature to save instructional time by easily sharing materials and focusing student attention.
Foster consistent classroom management practices across the district.
Promote Effective Online Learning and Digital Citizenship:
Customize filtering policies and learning experiences to meet the specific needs of Estill County schools and students
Monitor content, policies, and communications on school-issued devices to ensure responsible technology use.
Provide educators with insights and data to identify students who need extra support.
