Dear Parents and Guardians,
This letter is to inform you of the unfortunate passing of one of our students who attended Estill County High School. At this time, we do not have all the details surrounding the situation. However, we wanted to reach out and let you know, as you may want to discuss the situation with your child. The district and school have been providing counseling services and will continue as long as needed. If you feel that your child needs counseling, please call the High School or Central Office to set that up.
Attached are several resources that you may use for reference in conversations with your child. Additional resources can be found on the district and school websites. You may also refer to www.nasponline.org for even more resources.
We are extremely saddened by the loss of one of our students and on behalf of the faculty at Estill County High School we wanted to offer our condolences to family and friends.
